You’re stuck at a hotel or someplace that only has one ethernet port, but other people would like you to share. The connection could even be a pay for internet connection. OSX comes with a handy feature to share the wired internet connection to others who may have wireless. Simply enter the System Preferences->Sharing menu and click on the tab ‘Internet’. Select in the “Share your Connection From” the Built-in Ethernet and select “To Computers” the Airport. Click Start.
Others can now join your wireless network named after your computer. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work Wireless-to-Wireless out of the box. Two Wireless NIC cards are needed.
Can it get any easier?
