Kristine and I have been using our ING Direct savings account for close to a year now and love it. The account is pulling in about 4.5% in interest.

Over at GetRichSlowly.org there is a good thread on other high-yield accounts. The consensus appears to be ING Direct, HSBC, Emmigrant Direct, or EverBank.

For a complete checking, savings solution EverBank appears to be a good choice. They include pre-paid envelopes for deposits via mail, ATM access via Wells Fargo, and bill pay.

In any event, setting up your savings for 4% or more interest is a no brainer.
